About The Position

Position: Analyst, Capital Markets

Location: New York, NY

Reports to: Vice President, Capital Markets


This role will play an integral part in capital raising and other strategic initiatives for the company. The Analyst will be responsible for providing thoughtful product to internal and external stakeholders that helps drive key business outcomes and broadens capital access in creative and accretive ways.

This position reports to the Vice President, Capital Markets and offers a high level of visibility within the Senior Management Team. There is also a high level of interaction with other key stakeholders in the business including: Investor Relations, Accounting, Tax, Treasury, IT, Asset Management and Investments.



  • Executing various debt and equity capital raising via public and private transactions including unsecured notes, term loans, convertible notes, credit facilities and common equity
  • Analyzing financial projections for the purposes of capital planning, liquidity management, asset & liability matching and other strategic corporate initiatives
  • Developing corporate presentations and other investor materials as well as analyzing public filings and other tools to target high-quality institutional debt and equity investors
  • Creating presentations and analysis for senior management, rating agencies, lenders, investors, research analysts and Board of Directors
  • Complete and lead various miscellaneous ad hoc projects as identified


  • Qualified candidate will have 2 to 4 years of relevant work experience and a bachelor’s degree with a concentration in finance or economics.
  •  In depth knowledge of financial statement analysis
  • Excellent understanding of corporate finance concepts such as cost of capital, discounted cash flow and other valuation methodologies, debt and equity capital market functions as well as fundamental GAAP accounting concepts
  • Solid financial modeling skills, including professional work experience with three statement financial models that include a balance sheet, income statement and statement of cash flows
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Comfort analyzing large amounts of data sets
  • Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized and self-motivated
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and develop strong relationships internally and externally
  • Clear track record of excellence in work product, professionalism and communication
